The Crime
Someone has taken my husband.
Not a real husband, a woven one. Crafted with care, displayed with pride, and now absolutely nowhere to be found. The village is in an uproar. Six thousand women are under suspicion. Each one was spotted somewhere in the English countryside carrying something suspiciously large and husband-shaped, wearing a disguise that raised exactly the right amount of questions, and escaping via a getaway vehicle that nobody thought to question at the time.
Hidden under hay bales. Wrapped in a choir robe. Leaving on a milk float. Escaping by pedal boat.
One of them took him. And you are going to find out who.
